Bought this car about a month ago with a blown head gasket. 118k miles and in better than average condition. So I bought it to have a project and maybe drive for a while. Got to shopping around and found a good Cobra mill with only 30k miles on it. Since I wanted an intake for my 97 it was a good opportunity to get the whole package. It's running now and I should have it finished tomorrow morning then I'm bringing it down to south Louisiana for my mother-in-law to keep while we move to Houston...then she'll bring it back to me. Here are some pics of it. It should be done and ready to sell soon. I have to buy a few more things to make it completely nice. Oh well here are some pics.

Lokks great..........why didn't you keep the cobra manifold on? I know there's a space issue but you could have made some subframe spacers. How doe sit feel compared to the stock engine? I would expect it would be about the same. How much did you pay for the cobra engine?

In his post he said he kept the cobra intake for his gen 2.

Ok so I did get it finished, but I couldn't drive it. The rear bags were holding air for a couple of days before hand. However after being deflated for a few weeks I started the car up and could hear the air leaking out. It wouldn't have held up to a test drive much less a 4.5 hour trip. Also I discovered that the a/c is low on freon. So I'll order some rear bags (thank God that the previous just put front struts on a few months back) and my new plug wires should be in soon. So everything is coming together, but about a week after I had hoped.
