96 Mark VIII After Market Radio Add

I need some help here, I have the JBL premium system and have decided to go after market. Is all I have to do is buy the Radio, the harness kit and the faceplate adapter, since the JBL system has 6 speakers,what happens to the tweeters in the front doors? I don't care about the factory amp, I thinks it's AFU anyway! I have the technology to run new wiring but had recent surgeries and my flexibility isn't too great now!I want to keep the change as simple as possible!!!!! Help!!!!!
 
They make a harness kit for the amp. The amp is what runs the wires to the speakers. The harness will just get the appropriate wires to the amps. You should be good with what you listed.
 
Does the Amp get bypassed with one of the two plugs in the harness kit and use the new head unit as the power supply?Sorry I seem confused but since the JBL system has 6 speakers and after market radio's usually only have 4, 2 front and 2 rear is the harness just short the 2 + and the 2 - wires????

The adapter harness will go from new CD player to amp. The amp will go to all 6 speakers. I believe the front tweaters are tied into the front door speakers as far as balance and fade go. Either way all 6 work if u go straight from new CD to factory amp.
