FS: 97 mark VIII eng/trans complete

i have a DOHC 4.6 Mark VIII motor from a 97 base, 113k miles with trans, manifolds, and cats with Y pipe still attached for sale. this is ready to drop into another car. i will not ship it, local pick up only or you may travel if you want to but its still hooked to my engine hoist ready to be loaded on your trailer or your truck. i will post 2 pics tomorrow, $400 firm for the whole deal.

For 20 dollars, i'd drive up, spend the night at a days inn, and rent a uhaul back. Has everyone cleared you out yet, i'm tempted to take a day or two off work to see what you have in the shop if your literally clearing everything out. I might pick up a cheap parts car in miami tomorrow.
 
no one has cleared me out, in fact, no one has said one word, thats the number one reason why i am closing up because there is no interest in this crap anymore at all, i cant even give stuff away. and the 20 dollars was a joke, it was just to get someone else to post in here beside me. everything metal that doesnt sell is going to the scrap yard, wheels, heads, transmissions, cross members, 2nd gen aluminum hoods, i cant believe with all the mark VIII owners, the only money i am gonna make off these parts is from the scrap yard, oh well, i will still sleep nice at night lol!

I know lol. i wanna come up in the next week, dont scrap everything yet. Do you happen to have a first gen vclm or vcrm? I'm going to look at the junkyard tomorrow, i found a nice first gen here with a bad vclm.
 
andrew i will be back and forth there saturday morning taking a bunch of stuff to the scrap yard including that black 97 thats in the shop. the ivory one is next, i might not even pull the motor now, my brother in law wnats the block but for 200 bucks and all the work to tear it down, i'd rather get 350 for the car in scrap.
 
I could use some parts from an Ivory car, (Hood, front bumper, drivers seat, etc) but Im not inclined to drive down to Florida. Wish I lived closer.

I do need a rust free oil pan for a gen 2 if you have one. PM me if you have one and let me know how much. An oil pan shouldnt be too bad to ship.

i got one, on an ivory 97 with mint paint, perfect hood, header panel ect...... the oil pan is on the motor, and the motor is in the car, and the car is gonna go to scrap in a week! so you can come take the pan off if you want!
 
I may be interested in the motor. I found a 96 LSC basket case that needs some of that stuff you have lying around in your shop. I'm going to talk to the owner next week about the car. I'll let you know.
 
got 2 serious potential buyers on the motor this weekend, anyone who wants it, pay for it and i'll take the add off craigslist.
