that's what the car is worth in my area. That's what the car is worth to me.
tasteful mods with preservation in mind.

Car is located in Windsor, California...the wine country

bought in April 2004 with 78k on it. Been garaged ever since. Tires have 60% remaining(stock 225/60-16) car drives like a dream. sounds healthy, but not obnoxious. shifts are firm, but not bone-jarring. Torque converter lock-up schedule is set at 52 mph(where it should be) via SCT chip.

-sct 4-bank chip
-Spider Extreme

has minor flaws-couple small dimples in paint(door and 1/4 panel) small hairline crack in corner tail light lense and corner of lower tail light body colored trim sticks out 1". Driver's seat lower trim pulling off front of seat(common on Gen 2's)

the car just sits-gets driven every couple of months. zero rust(California car). will consider trades. We just dont drive this car. we have a 94 that gets driven, and between the co-workers who cant park, and the idiots on the road, we dont take it out of the garage except on weekends or to our shop for maintenance.

take a look. If you like what you see, send me an email. I know what the car is worth, so if you dont like the asking price, keep looking. I am a trained mechanic who knows these cars inside and out. Many members here can vouch for me, how picky I am, and how well I take care of my cars.

email me at Blackicelsc at aol.com. again, trades considered. Looking for a small pick-up truck, or???

INTERIOR:dont know why pictures have slight yellow tint-interior is light graphite

Octastars!!! Man I can't believe you only drove this car for 6k miles craig!! That is madness!

I really hope it goes to a good home :)

Now THAT is a fine example of a fine car with a known and verifiable history.

If I were in the market I would DEFINATELY buy a car from Craig.

I'm gonna forward this to the three people I know that are looking for a great second gen.

Take notes folks, THAT'S how you list a car for sale in the forums.

You can really tell he takes pride in EVERYTHING he does!

Beautiful car!

boy if i had money craigy, i'd be on a plane, ever since pete sold his toreador red lsc, i really found out how much i love that shade of red. you guys havent put crap for miles on it, looks so good, good luck with the sale.

Hey, thanks guys...we really havent driven the car much at all...she drove it daily for about 6 months...then got a Dodge pick-up as a daily driver. The car then became a weekend cruiser. We moved in to our house exactly 2 years ago, and we've had it out for a drive maybe 5 times. One was a day trip in 103 degree heat to Sacramento...the A/C blared ice cold the whole way, and it avg 29 mpg...at 70 mph...with the A/C blaring....other than that, I just fire it up, cruise to the shop or take it for a freeway blast every few months...and let it sleep.

sad part is, it sleeps in the garage while my $13k HHR sits in the elements...but that's ok, my HHR doesnt hold a candle to the LSC.

Jamie...you would actually enjoy this car "as is"...the stereo is loud enough to rattle the license plate(thanks to your expert advice on hooking the sub-woofer up), the chip helps it bark the tires when you want it to, and the torque converter lock-up schedule transforms the entire driving experience. I know you, and what you like and expect from a Mark VIII...I am the same way...but when I slip behind the wheel of this car, I take on a different personality...instead of in my 94 "look out fool, Black Ice coming through"(with a loud bark of the tires), it's more like "yes...yes it is a nice car...thanks for looking."

I know we'll regret selling it, but we just cant stand to see it sit any more, and my 94 is also for sale, so Brenda needs a daily driver that we dont have to worry so much about on the streets at her job...

anyway...open to all offers...but be sure you take a long, hard look at the photos before you make an offer. and yes...you can jump behind the wheel, and drive it to Maine if you have to.

EDIT: I have ordered a EVAP solenoid for the charcoal cannister. I have a feeling the diaphragm sticks sometimes, so I am installing a new one, and servicing the tranny as well(been 4k miles/over a year)

no gears, but killer tranny, and everything works/is tight.

just replaced the oil filter housing gasket last weekend.

the guy who bought the 97 LSC came to buy my 94 for $3000
but when he saw the 97 LSC, he stepped up.
