Well gang, I got the itch and will be replacing my 98 LSC with a new ride. I hate to do it, but I can’t pass up the deal I’m getting.

I purchased my Mark VIII from the original owner, a little old lady in DC, just about 3 years ago. It had just a little over 20,000 miles on it at the time, so we’re talking only 2,250 miles per year! She couldn’t drive it anymore and was having trouble parking it in her tiny garage. In fact, her parking issues required that I purchase a replacement front right fender (I didn’t want any bondo work) :)

Since buying and driving her down to Charlotte, NC I’ve tastefully updated/modified the car with a custom cold-air intake, a Lonnie tune from Blue Oval Chips, 3.73 geared limited-slip diff, professional tint, 18” ADR rims with 245-45x18 Goodyear rubber, 1 3/8” Addco anti-sway bars front and rear, full 2 1/2 “ Duals with double X-over, and U sensor lowered it 1”. The car looks and drives fantastic. I haven’t added up the cost, but I suspect I’ve got over $4000 in the mods alone.

The car is my daily driver and currently has only ~59,000 miles on the clock, so it’s still super low mileage and in excellent condition. I’ve maintained her meticulously (my son is a Master Tech), and have continuously garage parked her at home AND at work. The only thing “wrong” is the big middle brake light, which I suspect could be fixed with a replacement ballast.

Included with the car (at full price) are the original set of 10 spoke chrome rims with tires, the original 3.27 pumpkin, a spare Mass air sensor, and a spare used steering column potentiometer (extremely RARE). For the car and extra parts I’m asking $6,500, which I think is a very fair price. I’ll Ebay her if I have to, but I wanted to offer her to the LOD community first.

The link below "should" get you to a site with photos. The pics out there are about a year old, so I'm going to give her a bath and take a bunch of pics tomorrow and post them ASAP.

There is an accident reported on CarFax which occurred when the original owner's nephew bump someone at a stop sign, but there was no damage. I can send a copy of the accident report via email. Let me know if you have ANY questions.

Cheers - Guy

Original Stereo with the 10 CD changer. Air suspension is original (at least no changes since I've had her) and works flawlessly.

No heated seats, and no sunroof. I'm 6'5" so I had to look long and hard to find a quality LSC with no sunroof :)

I'd love to have it....but I have a '97 almost identical to it....except it has 140k something on it.....My driveway would look good with twins in it!

Okay gang, I've just uploaded 24 fresh pictures here: http://cid-25ae06f095680a7c.skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?page=play&resid=25AE06F095680A7C!1438&type=5&authkey=AjXE8JQTfAc$&Bsrc=EMSHOO&Bpub=SN.Notifications

For some reason the camera picks up the difference much more so than the naked eye. It's only really obvious in certain light conditions. Nevertheless, when I went to take it back to see if my paint guy could blend it he had split town, never to be seen again....

Does EVERYTHING work? Blend door, drivers/passenger seat and steering column? I bought my 98 LSC last Christmas and none of these things worked ;-(

Yes, everything but the neon brake light. The column sometimes doesn't come back down after parking, but all I have to do is press up on the wheel with my knee while pressing down on the control button. That may be fixable by cleaning the Potentiometer, if not, I have a spare :)

beautiful car, only wish I had the money to buy it, I really like those rims, congrats on the sale!
