after putting in my second windshield wiper motor since i bought my 98 town car in march of 2004 i was informed by my mechanic(the 1st one was installed by the dealer that sold the car to me)that there is a trough that exits through a small drain hole by the windshield wiper motor that needs to be drained/cleaned manually a couple of times a year to remove twigs and leaves,otherwise when it clogs it drains directly into the wiper motor. just passing this along and even wondering if anyone else has had this problem or is aware of it.
at least this motor has a 2 yr warranty!
