A 96 engine installed in my 94

The engine in my green 94 Mark VIII was ticking like a time bomb.

Before I had time to check it out, Jeremi found a 96 parts car with a good engine for me.:D

I was worried about not having enough time to swap engines before Carlisle. Jeremi offered to do most of the work.:)

All I did was help pull the engine out. I was going to help put the engine in, on the weekend, but he was already done at the end of the week.

He did everything. He swapped the specific 94 to 96 parts and harness, replaced the trans lines, power steering hose, cleaned and painted the oil pan, and cleaned everyting he touched.

The car runs like a new car. Smooth and powerful. It's getting better fuel mileage too. I'll be shooting for a mileage record on the trip to Carlisle.:D

I can't thank you enough Jeremi.

I guess you can tell I was working alone ... no pictures of the install

I despise dirty engines, and engine bays. I had to give this one a through cleaning before dropping the new used engine in there. You can actually see the engine block now

Hopefully it stays leak free for you Bill. Please keep it clean

Let's just call it my contribution to the 2010 Carlisle, since I can't be there myself.

Now I can get back to finishing the garage before the euro vacation next week :D

nice job. i just went through the same crap, except i had to do it twice, because the doner motor we got was junk, found it out after i started it!! so i had to pull, replace, pull again, replace again!! all in 3 weekends. these motors really are easy as pie to pull and change. it was the first one i ever put back in though! i'd do it again, but not for the same price! i was alone too but i took tons of pics along the way. keep her going bill!!!!

Yeah, Jeremi is a great friend to have. He's good people.

It hasn't leaked a drop Jeremi, and it's running great.:)

Jamie, I read about your ordeal, glad it worked out good though.
