A 98 Mark 8 LSC with no heated seats!

I just purchased my second mark 8 today. It has the ivory pearl exterior with ivory interior. I have been searching for this color combination for a long time and found this one on the internet. It is loaded with sunroof, cell phone, but no heated seats. I think the heated seat swithces complete the look of the dash. Do all 97-98 lincolns come with the heating element in the seats but without the switches? Or could i just get the heated seat switches and wire them some how to light up when the parking and HID's are illuminated?

No you do not have anything in the car to do with heated seats. The parts are still available from Ford, but are very expensive and the wiring is a PITA. I went for an aftermarket set because of the price.
If you want to go for the factory setup I have a dash switch set for sale.

Dang, I was trying to save some money and just get the switches. How much would you offer the switches for? Does the lighting work throughout the switch?

There are a set of heated seat switches for sale on e-bay right now that i would like to by but how hard would it be to wire up the heated seat switches in my car? My old 97 mark 8 came with heated seats and the switches had burnt out lights on it. When i replaced those i can remember now that the wire harness plugs into the switches. I love the look and would be willing to go through the trouble if ya have any suggestions.
