a/f messed up

i'm pretty pissed.

My uncle just got a dyno so I did a run on it and produced 60 less lb/ft of torque and 80 less rwhp.

I had my car tuned before and the a/f was set to 11.5 with some variation.

Now the a/f was at lowest 13.4 and the maf pegged and shot up the a/f to 21.7.

bad fuel filter? Dirty MAF? Both?

I'm happy my motor didn't go poof.

That is scary! I would start with cleaning the MAF. I am guessing you use an oiled filter?
 
I just got a bottle of cleaner and sprayed the crap out of it. Yeah, I have an oil filter.

Now i'm off to change the fuel filter. I don't know what else it could be.
 
Yeah I know. It was a typo.

And I figured that last night because the cleaning kit I bought came with an airisol spray can so I was a little spray happy.

Well... The fuel filter was changed and I guess I'll find out soon.

different dyno's produce different numbers and depending on the honesty of the operator can be altered to produce greatly different numbers based on what formula they apply in the software.

I wonder if you didn't get the "tooner special" dyno sheet showing 80+ HP, then on your uncles new honest and presumed properly calibrated dyno you got far less HP.

the possible scenarios are endless.

you should stick to using 1 dyno, but you probably have figured that part out by now

Its fine now. The A/F was fixed and all of my horsepower is back. The torque is less but that's because my converter is basically shot.

The hp was the exact same from the original dynojet tune as it was on my uncles mustang dyno.
