Eddy Walters died of a massive heart attack
a few of us in the NY metro area know Eddy who ran
the Toys for Tots car shows through out the city and
also coordinated the toy run every Thanksgiving
for Bayside children's hospital which we participated in.
Eddy turned Mickey D's on Metro.ave. into a major event on
Tuesday nights which Alexander attended regularly with his
Squarebirds. Eddy will be remembered for his generosity and
love for cars and the kids, he will be missed
 
Eddy was a great guy. He suddenly and too young.

He organized a car club for the benefit of a charity. He actually had to search for a charity that would accept his concept. He did not need to have the money go to charity, but that is the sort of man he was. I hope his cause goes on.
 
Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. Eddy was a good guy, he'll be missed at all the shows.
