After having read numerous threads addressing the ABS system I have finally gathered the courage to fix the problem (with no luck). With your help maybe we can solve this.
I have:
1. Ignored the light for years.
2. Removed the old front sensors and cleaned them with wire brush.
3. Wired brushed the sprocket wheels.
4. unplugged battery. No luck.
5. Pulled the code with a piece of wire.
6. Code 31 flashed.
7. Re cleaned LH sensor, (driver side).
8. Used my Voltmeter on Sensor and got continuity and constant reading of 1.1.
9. disconnected the battery for 20 minutes to reset and no luck.
10. Found a pair of front ABS sensors at the junk yard and replaced LH sensor.
11. No luck, ABS still shines brightly.
I would appreciate any advice on resolving this issue, Thanks.
