Adjustable Fuel Pressure Reg. - Who has...

Who is using a 3 bolt style for the Gen1 (93 only?) stock fuel rail.
I"m looking at BBK, Mallory and Aeromotive brands, but can't find
good diagrams of where the vacuum and guage ports are located
relative to the base on the first two.
The diagram for the Aeromotive unit has both ports at about the
3 o-clock position (looking down from front) which could interfere
with the return line coupling.
Am I correct that the 3 bolt for the 80's-93 5.0 Mustang is the
correct one to use?
From brand to brand the port locations vary, some have vacuum
and gauge ports on same side, some on opposite, some at 45 deg.
Any one using one with a clear shot to both? Thanks,

Mel C.

I could not get either the BBK(blue?) nor Aeromotive(red?) to fit.

More due to interference with the fuel rail from the large base than the vacuum/pressure ports.

I ended up with the billet Kirban units everyone sells(LMS, SCP, others).

Same here...when I had my 93. Be prepared for some elevated levels of frustration putting that thing in!

John, you answered in 20 min. what I spent hours web surfing trying to find
out. THANK YOU!
On your photo and SCP site, no guage port is visible, so is it correct that
there is none?
Do you have a FP gauge? (at the schrader valve?)
In case anyone else needs this info, this is a Kirban 5005 unit.
From this lead, I also found a Vortech v8f130-031 that might fit, but costs
more. Thanks again,

There is no pressure port on that regulator.

I have the gauge in the fuel rail. You need to remove the schrader valve and install a very hard to find 1/16" Male NPT x 1/8" Female NPT reducer. Holley(NOS) makes them.
