Advance Track

Ok so my friend and I went to the track today in Martin MI, I would say the track is nice, but it is not test and tune friendly. They sprayed something on it, by the time I got close to the end I thought I was going to fly off the track. They were more interested in the races. I am assuming since they make money off of it. Well we got there paid our $15 per car, then had to have our cars inspected, they told me I had to take my center caps off my wheels {never had to do that before} so after 5 different keys and no scratched wheels thank god I got them off. Then he says here are your car numbers, but I am out of white marker so you'll have to find some otherwise they wont know who you are. Waited in line for 1/2 hour while they kept letting all these other cars cut in I finally ran a 14.99 @ 90.79MPH Only got to run once because they decided to stop at 6 instead of 7 hopefully I will make it there next weekend, I forgot I was going there today and filled up last night, plus had reports and sprinkler parts in my trunk :( Anyone have any ideas on what a good time is for my car?? This was my first run with the LS my 98 Mark ran 14.6 was my best time

RE: Advance Track

Ok so I forgot the whole point my reaction time was 1.27, because I was turning the advacne track off while I was staging...duh...lol

RE: Advance Track

You do understand that reaction time has nothing to do with your ET, don't you???

Just a heads up.

RE: Advance Track

Honestly no I didnt. But thats good to know..just a little disapointed I thought it would run at least what the mark did. It feels faster then my 98

RE: Advance Track

That's a pretty good number you ran, I would be happy if it were my LS on it's first track visit.
