air ride "off"

Just bought a parts car and "bounced" it over 2 hours back home. What would be the logical and/or probable cause for the switch in the trunk to be on, and the on board computer flash that the switch is off? I'm curious to see if the front suspension is actually bad, or if it has just leaked down over time. the rear is up, and hasnt lowered any at all.

No power going to the switch.....???? Unless there IS a leak, it wouldn't "leak down" over time....well, maybe a very long time.

he he he....by the looks of this beat up beauty, nothing would surprise me on just how long it has been since the air ride worked properly. Its a shame that its as beat up as it is. I have looked and looked for another black on black 94 towncar (identical to one I used to have) and have had no luck....then I stumble on a black on black mark and Its so bad off its not worth bringing back to life. :frown:

If it is switched "off" there are prob issues that made the previous owner turn it off.

I'm pretty sure the fronts are shot, they don't "leak down" over time. Often times there are sensor issues also, but you have to diagnose this first.

I may be interested in a couple of interior parts from that thing if you get the burn to sell them.
