Removed the air silencer and compressor finally...

Glad you took it out! Did you notice any gain while driving it other than the sound?

Can't tell the sound really over exhaust. When I go WOT I can actually notice the difference though. Seems like it just breaths better now with those hols drilled in the back also.

I was going to say your car looks dirty but mine's not much better. Maybe the red shows it worse than blue.

Anything you do on these cars to help with airflow helps!

I never drilled my airbox. Do you guys think i should like the tech article says to?

Drilling the airbox was my first 'mod'. LOL

It's a long road to start down, be careful!

I don't know that drilling the air box will gain you anything if you have removed the snorkle . That's a sizable hole there with lots of fresh air.

Thats what i was thinking so i didnt drill the airbox.

Shiz! That is dirty, haha! Mine wasn't any cleaner when I made this thread....here is what I did with mine. VERY noticeable difference.
