Hit a patch of gravel and almost slid off the road today!
Visions of my Mark VIII upside down in a ditch flew through my mind as I bounced along the edge of the 8 foot deep ravine, comming to a stop with only my front left and rear right tires on the ground!!
The right front wheel hanging over the ravine and the left rear wheel 4 inches off the ground!
Luckily no real damage to the car other than some scratches on the frame,and some plants jammed in the fender liner.. felt really stupid standing there waiting for the tow truck to pull me out.
I did meet some nice people who stopped to see if I needed any help, including a real nice Mark VIII driven by a young guy named Matt.
All in all it turned out to be a good day, the Mark is fine and I know
that the car gods where only toying with me today.
