does anyone know what the electric fans in the mark VIII's draw for amps? someone is asking me, because its for a project car not another mark. any info in appreciated.

The startup amperage is higher and that's why the fuse is rated so high, but I tested mine and it runs at 20A on high speed.

The way to really find out is to clip a DC amprobe around one of the wires to the fan motor.

I bought a DC amprobe a few months ago for checking starter draw on Outboard motors.

It's a important figure when moving batteries and installing the correct size battery cables.

The problem is that no outboard Factory manual lists this info.

This is the one I have.
