Top secret man....secret squirrel stuff...like...Harry Potter stuff!

Top freaking secret rabid squirrly shizzle stuff.

Well wow, I dont know if I want to get into typing all the crap all over again.

1. changed everything in the front end, but the lower control arms. Still got a crappy noise like everything is loose in the front end when I hit little bumps in the road, which aint to friggin easy to miss when you live ANY where in NYC.

2. Changed the Air suppention compressor and silinoids on both sides of the front and the damn thing is too friggin high in the front. Raised the sensors all the way up cant go any more and it's high.

3. When I get out of the car, the rear vents but not the front. Let it sit for 2 days and the front goes down but as you know it's 20 degrees outside and the cold will do that. Let the Car raise up, turn off the switch in the trunk, if it's above 50 outside the car will not vent all the way down for a couple of days. If its below 40 or so the car is low in the front and the rear never is slammed.

3. Cant get the light under the hood to work. checked all fuses and the bulb is good,

4. Trunk light is out now. I have not checked that so I am not worried about it at this time.

That should hold you for awhile.

So back to my question, anyone in the brooklyn area?

What are your issues?

Issues? I am about to give up on the car, I have had it for 6 years and am ready to convert to spring all around. Really dont want to take that dive, but I am at my wits end on the height issues. Either get it fixed or the car is going up for sale. Gen1

Brook have you checked out Eddie's sight for info?

I'm not super good with the air suspension so I'm not even gonna try. The hood light....check the ground strap on the hood and make sure its bolted down. Then check power at the light with the hood up. If you have power and ground then replace the light fixture. Mine was bad.

Trunk light is probably an easy fix, not a common failing item.

Yea dude, I've spent countless minutes on the phone with eddie. He's the one I buy my compressors from. He hood strap is in tact. Going to look on ebay for the fixture.

Ok...read over your list.

Did you replace the front struts when you did "everything"?

Struts were replaced less than 2 years ago. every thing was done within 6 months of each other. I dont know without looking for paperwork. But at anyrate, i'm really getting ready for selling off the parts and going with springs at this point, or just selling the car and getting a new one. Wife is bitching! WTF???? can a married dude du?

your hood light problem is the hood light assembly itself, replace it, it has a mercury switch inside it, so if there is power to it, and the bulb is good, you need to replace the actual assembly the bulb sits in, it pops off the hood, junk yards are your friend!
