Any Photochop gurus out there?

I'm thinking about doing just the grille and surround on my base Toreador Red 97 in body color, like an LSC. Want to leave the rest of the chrome to go with the bling-bling wheels.

Could somebody pshop a pic of the car with the grille and surround in body color so I could consider it? I have tried MS Paint, but cant get it looking right. Pics are in Members Rides, should still be the first post.

Thanks.

RE: Any Photochop gurus out there?

Funny, but there was recently a LSC toreador red grill on ebay. There was also a chrome one.

BTW, my GF is curious about installing a chrome grill on her LSC. maybe we can swap, huh?

Only catch is, someone has to go grill-less while waiting for the other one to arrive!

Basically, your car would look exactly like a LSC except with chrome headlight lower trim, and side moulding. Of course, your tail light will have chrome too.

I have always loved the look of a Gen 2 LSC with the monochromatic look. My GF loves her car, but wishes it had a chrome grill.
I think the no-chrome look just suits the car. But, you decide.

here's a pic for any photo-shop experts to use, and a pic of my buddy Cecil's 97 base:

RE: Any Photochop gurus out there?

Hey, Craig!

Good to hear from you, buddy. Sure, I'll swap with you. What say we both remove them tonight and ship tomorrow second day or Priority Mail? That'll minimize the wait time, or at least even it out a bit.

I was actually bidding on the red grille on ebay, but once it got up over $100, I let it go. I like the side chrome because it goes well with the bling-bling wheels, but would love to get rid of the front chrome. This would be a good way for your G/F and I both to get the grilles we want for nothing but shipping costs.

Oddly enough, I keep surfing eBay for a ~100K miles Mark for my G/F. She has this POS '96 Kia that just refuses to die, but keeps getting uglier somehow. If I can find a decent one for cheap that could use a little TLC, we might just become the next his-n-hers Mark household. Also looking at T-Birds because the prices are a bit better. I never seem to hit reserve, though, dammit. Either the dealerships auctioning cars off are being unrealistic, or I'm a cheap bastard. Probably the latter. Not going to pay anywhere near retail for a car that I've only seen pictures of, regardless of what Carfax says.

Got the exhaust done today. See post that's coming in a bit.

Michael
