Anyone done the coilspring conversion?

It seems like the front struts from struts-r-us must be twisted about 30 degrees at the top or bottom to fit in?? I tried both the marked "R.F." and "L.F." units on the passenger side and it doesnt look like it will happen. Can anyone give me a step-by-step on putting the new part in, like how to align it or whether to do the top or the front first.
Thanks in advance.

Line up the three small bolts on top to there corresponding holes and tighten. Loosen the nut on top of the strut just enought to get it to move. Then twist the strut so that the fork of the strut goes in it's spot on the LCA. PLace the bolt through the lower hole there and tighten. Don't forget to tighten the top bolt back.

Ooooooh!
Thanks a bunch about that top nut... i thought the shock would fly out if i messed with it. I'll try that out tomorow

Just loosen it, not remove it. Would be funny to see one fly acroos the room though.

I seen someone take the top nut out with only the 3 top bolts still attached in a different car. Took out a good chunk of the cement floor. Sounded like a firecracker. Also seen an el-cheapo spring compressor come off, and the spring fly 10 ft in the air... Now THATS COOL!!
