i am looking for a pic of a 2nd gen with a bra installed(not a female bra ;-) ).. i know alot of people hate thos things but i want to see how a 2nd gen looks from the front and the side...if anyone has a few pics it would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I hope not. Only install a bra if you want to completely destroy the paint on the front end of your car. If thats what your interested in doing by all means go ahead.

i picked up a mark for $500..it needs a fender..its hit near the headlight.. i would like to find a toreador red fender...but in the meantime i want to cover it with the bra

my friend took this on the way back from carlisle in 08. Not the best pic but you get the idea. The car only had the bra on it for the trip to and from to help protect it from the mass amount of bugs in the summer

thanks 95blklsc..... i was hoping the bra would cover alittle more of the fender...looks like i am on the hunt for a toreador red drivers fender....damn

I had a friend with a white 98 LSC that had a bunch of scrapes on the front bumper. He didn't have the money to paint it, so he bought the bra to cover it. I personally hated it, but I guess it wasn't the MOST horrible thing I've ever seen.

I helped him put it on there and we got it super tight, so it didn't flip up like 95blklsc's. We worked on it multiple days, and in the end, there wasn't a gap like that on the sides. It went all the way to the inner fender on both sides.

What fender do you need?

The fender is a bolt on part. Find a used replacement in the same color. A bra will cost you $50-100. Better off puttingt he money towards a used fender which might be the same as a bra.

I only use the bra for the road trip to and from Carlisle or a similar distance. It doesn't stay on the car otherwise, so I don't have any pics.

I have picked up some new clear film I'll be testing on this years' trip to Carlisle ... I would like to quit using the bra entirely. I could only find one used on eBay.

Talk to me about this "clear film" you speak of... :D

i was hoping to cover at least half of this dent but i guess not

Man it's hard to see from the pic how bad that dent is, but i would be half tempted to pull off the liner in the wheel well and see if you can't push that sucker out.

Seriously...a little plastic malet or 60 bucks at a dent pro guy can make that disappear.

Yup. I'm thinking just pop that sucker like the little dice dome in the game of Trouble. The return motion anyways. :D

3M man...where you been!?

That looks permanent... or stupidly expensive if only used for long trips...

It's like our static cling logo. Not perminent but you leave it on because you can't see it. I have it on my headlights and you wouldn't even know.
