LOL...I don't know if I'd be considered an "official" friend, so breathe easy, Flamark! LOL I collect motorcycle racing artwork, signed by the riders. It is difficult to find and/or expensive. I had bought a very rare piece from the artist himself, and when I received the piece, it was NOT signed by the rider. I was pissed because it was an artist proof, one of only a handful, and the litho was the last one. But I sent the proof back, and the artist got the litho signed for me by the rider. In addition, he said he'd send me something special to make up for it. He sent me a special lithograph that was commissioned by Lockheed Martin Aerospace, and was not offered for sale. It was given away to VIP military people, senators, military personel, etc.. It's of the new F-22, and the name of the litho is "Spirit of the Raptor". It's a very nice print, but I didn't really need the print, so it occured to me that Bill might enjoy the print. So I contacted Bill, and sent him the print. I'm just hoping that it got there safe. I'm currently saving up for a print signed by the Nicky Hayden, and a huge money one of Valentino Rossi, who rarely signs anything. I expect to pay through the butt for that one!! LOL In addition, I have a litho of the Titanic signed by the youngest survivor, Millvina Dean. I have another litho, depicting a special Spitfire, MK923.
