You don't need an amp eliminator, all you need is a $9 Ford Premium sound adapter from Wal-Mart... it works just fine. Unless you're trying to change out all your speakers and such. Let us know what you want to do so that we can help you out.

Thanks for diagram What im trying to do is install a aftermarket head unit Not having any luck Cant seem to get speakers to play one by one Its always 2 or more ???????????????

Thats probably because the amp has a X over in it and runs them in pairs. Are you using the Harness Kit for Fords as mentioned above, or are you just splicing in wires?

Ok, first this should probably be in the audio section.

Now, Shagman, what exactly have you hooked up and how? This will help us figure out where it issues are coming from.

What harness are you using? It needs to have a white rectangular connector as well as a black square connector. The black square connector is the one going to the amp... it has all of the speaker connections.

Also what aftermarket head-unit are you using...?!

I had 2 different kits 1 wasnt for premium so it did no good 2nd was for jbl and it didnt work either So i cyied Uncle and ran wirs to connector at amp wired all the tweeters But woofers are common ground I kept all wiring intact at least I set the woofers to the front speakers I`ll just unplug rears and run a set a wires to trunk from them How do speaker covers come off on rears speakers ????????????? 94 Mark

Thanks for the help has saved whats left of my hair lol

Lol, kinda hard to read/understand being half buzzed and half asleep.

You're NOT going to be able to power the stock speakers through the stock amps just running wires to them....you NEED to use the PROPER harness before you FUBAR this entire thing up. Either that or run separate speakers and start from scratch.

The rear speaker grills just pry off using a small screwdriver.

Boy picked up on the buzz and lack a sleep lol
No i ran wire already from front to rear And ofcourse found correct plug after the fact , But it sounds great just cant fade woofers till i unplug rears and run wires

Thanks for all the info:cool:

Yes that looks like the correct kit. You DON'T disconnect the amp... the kit is just labeled that way.
