Avoiding a hassle?

So I have been looking into the transmissions on Blueovalchips & also looked at the stage II rebuild kit at Reinhartautomotive.

I think it would be easier to buy a new transmission considering they use the later model tranny ( I own a 93 ).

Here are the two transmissions I was looking at

$1200.00

$1500.00

Also do these later model tranny's have upgraded filters? I hear they clog easy.

One more thing, What about upgraded clutch plates ?

I will also call them and get more info... I just would like to sound like I know the basics.

Thank you for any information posted

Since you have the '93, a rebuild is not a good idea. Get one of the later model replacements. Make sure whoever does the install understands the proper wiring required if getting the late model solenoid assembly.

I've never heard of filters plugging easily.
