AWESOME MARK VIII VIDEO

RE: AWESOME MARK VIII VIDEO

It's obviously a quality piece of production. Lots of time and effort, and it shows. However: something better than predictable mallcore music would be appreciated. Iced Earth (the song Violate comes to mind...), Maiden, Slayer(just saw 'em last night, I'm still experiencing afterglow), , less MTV-friendly something more ominous than the whole "Die Mutha****a Die" thing. *shrug*

The photochopped images are very cool, but should be interlaced with actual video of Marks and LSes taking down their opponents, doing burnouts, etc. All hail the injection of Tasca history. I'm a big fan of the great body of Tasca work, and it's cool to revisit it.

Could care less about the couple of hoochies here and there. Unless they belong to someone, own one of the cars or something, eh. Then again, I've got my own boobs so I'm not so easily fascinated by them ;)

It's a good start, and I'm sure if the criticism is taken constructively, the next effort will be spectacular.

On edit: Didn't know you didn't have a word filter, so I self-filtered.

I to just saw Dio and Maiden about 4 months ago! Amazing show!
I have never heared of "Iced Earth" but I sure am willing to give them a hear.

I appriciate the compliments on the movie, glad you feel that way and I do appriciate it the kind words. Not too bad after only having the program 3 days prior to showing it on Ford VS Chevy site.

Alot of people had made private comments about it being "Cheaply made" and they "expected more from the Mighty LMS" and what not, which is fine, not everyone is going to like everything ALL the time, that is their opinion and they are entitled to it and I do respect it.

However they do fail to realize that it was NOT by any means easy or cheaply made at all, the choreography was IMPECABLE, the effects were very correct and well thought out , it was all very very planned as well as being story boarded. I would like to see someone give it a try just so they could appriciate it.

I really do not feel that the music is even close to "predictable" or "mallcore" as you stated at all. It was to the point, it fit the bill for this particular "friendly" rivalry of the cars involved, how you see or feel this to be "MTV Friendly" is beyond me. I cannot quite remember the last time I heard those lyrics or that song on MTV?

Plus the only time that I know of that song being used for something even remotely close to this was the Grouchy Media version with all the soldiers and warplanes (my actual inspiration).

The Tasca part had to be in there for sure, it is the Tasca SuperMark afterall LOL. There NOT all photoshopped. The manipulated stills were only interlaced at the end as a teaser within the credit bar stating "The End ???" with a question mark meaning the next one is coming for sure with 5 times the video and a whole bunch of suprises. Most people caught onto that the first time they saw it.

Could care less about the couple of hoochies here and there. Unless they belong to someone, own one of the cars or something, eh. Then again, I've got my own boobs so I'm not so easily fascinated by them ;)

The intent wasn't to fascinate you by them in the end or the middle shot, they were put there for the inevidible "Eye Candy" (which they are) and yes the one by my SuperMark does "Belong to me" as you stated, that is the True One and ONLY Love of my life that I would Die for and yes I do take a huge offense in that RUDE,IGNORANT, DISRESPECTFUL statement.

It's a good start, and I'm sure if the criticism is taken constructively, the next effort will be spectacular.

All criticism is takin constructively by me.

Good Start? LMAO!!

Should have learned to filter a little more in this post.

RE: AWESOME MARK VIII VIDEO

If you like Dio and Maiden (and if people don't there's likely something wrong with them ;) ), you'll likely enjoy Iced Earth. Very talented metal band with a great catalog. They've just changed singers, and the new guy is Ripper Owens, the one that took Rob Halford's place in Judas Priest. I'm reserving judgement till I hear it. Anyway, I believe their site is http://www.icedearth.com

The video doesn't look cheaply made, but then again, as you say, a lot of people don't know what goes into trying to edit a video presentation for online consumption. There's no magic button that puts it all together and choreographs the scene changes for you.

The music just seems to be the teen angst stuff to me. It's okay for a while, but after too long, it all sounds the same. The intent was there, certainly. I'm a rather critical person, and I realize it. :)

Relax on the hoochie comment. It's not meant a negative comment, and I'm sorry if you took it that way. Most women with a heartbeat have a little hoochie in 'em if you know what I mean. And that's O KAY. Sometimes it's healthy and therapeutic to show off a little of what you have. Anyhow, if you want rude and disrespectful, sit back and think of the thoughts of the typical straight male when observing a gal in a video like that. That, is disrespectful. Something that would puts obvious claim of your relationship with her(and be pretty cool) for next time would be video of her doin' a big, nasty burnout. Course, then the thoughts and comments might be worse from the aroused male population from that one  ...Anyway, I'll have to go back and look, but the only ones I remember are the two or three chicks together that looked like the ones that pose for stuff at races and carshows and whatnot.

These statements seem to contradict one another, but *shrug*

It's the Internet. Never take it seriously. Typed words are far les able to convey the intent behind a statement than are spoken words with someone's tone and body language to help get the point across.

RE: AWESOME MARK VIII VIDEO

i liked the one from brad better but it could have used some good jammin bluegrass music instead
