The thought has crossed my mind, but I'm not so sure it would make the migration.. heat + dairy products aren't always the best of friends.

If you only had some sort of ridiculously enormous container that would keep that cold... :D
 
aww, geez.. you mean I'm going to have to make another one?

my main concern about non-refrigerated longevity, is that the "frosting" is simply a pound of semi-sweet chips, and 2 cups of whipping cream. heated, then chilled until spreadable.. If it warms, I'm afraid of the chocolate puddle that would appear in my spare tire well without warning..

did anyone get a suite with an oven? maybe we can bribe the hotel to take over their kitchen for a couple hours...
