Just sharing some new information: a new Ford TSB published July 28,2004, but I just got it today. It's for all vehicle lines.
Have you got lines that are cut on your rear defrost? How about side terminals that have come off the glass?
TSB# 04-15-14 addresses this. Ford part # PM-11 is a conductive epoxy type paint for repainting the breaks in your grid lines. It's about $12.00. Ford part #4F1Z-14421-AA is a kit with new side terminals already precoated with low temperature solder and an instruction sheet. Remember hearing shops tell you the only way to fix terminal separation was to buy a new glass? Well, this kit's $30.00.
