Battery light on, just replaced altenator

About a week ago the altenator went out in my Mark. This makes the second altenator I've put in it in the past year and half. Today a buddy of mine borrowed the car and the battery light came on and the auto. climate control stopped working. Did I get a hold of a bad alt. or is something else going on here?

If you have a volt meter you can test it that way. You can also check the battery, but it sounds like you may have another bad alt. Where did you buy it?

Autozone, got a free replacement so its all good for now.

Good call, I'm getting pretty good at the alternator thing. I think I set a new record.

I don't think so......lol. After 8 alternators in 6 months......

I had my OEM alternator for about 120k miles. I replaced with a new NAPA life time one. That one went in about 6 months and so far the 2nd replacement one is holding up.

Well put sir, I only wish you guys had conventions closer to where I live. As for the car she is a working progress, I've had a wish list made up for awhile now. I took a peek at you cardomain page I like the looks of your mark. I wish my interior was in good of shape as yours.
