Few questions:
1) If I mount it up high, will it help with the start up oil pressure to limit the Gen 1 chain rattle? It would seem that maybe oil pressure at start up might be further delayed, causing the rattle to be really bad. My stock set up is fine without a cooler or remote filter (with Mobil 1 5w30 and Motorcraft 820S).
2) Would a one way valve of some type help with chain rattle?
3) Not too fond of hose clamps.. is there a kit with engine adapter, filter mount and cooler out there with crimped hoses and actual AN or Pipe fittings?
4) Do those clamp on Oil Filter fins work? I don't mind changing the stock oil filter. Extending the filter out for an adapter might cause an interference problem with the frame rails. The clamp ons might be good enough.
4) Just want to know what works, fits and doesn't cost huge bucks.
