Best spark plugs for good price ?

RE: Best spark plugs for good price ?

Autolite 764 is the general consensus from all ive seen.

RE: Best spark plugs for good price ?

Stock heat range: Motorcraft AWSF-32
1 step colder: Motorcraft ASWF-22
2 steps colder (what i run): AWSFA-12C

I may be missing a letter or number on the first two, but those numbers are close.

RE: Best spark plugs for good price ?

Hey Dave, how much did the AWSFA-12C 2 plugs run you and where you get them from ?
I appreciate the help also.

I get mine from Max from 5 star ford, I think they are $2 and change a piece if I remember correctly.

AWSFA-12C PLUGS list - $3.59 cost - $1.156 a piece. Complimentary of Max at Fivestar Ford.

Or go to ModularDepot and talk to Randy in FordParts.

Autolite 764's... about a buck each. Gap 'em at 0.048". You can also get AP764's(platinum @ $2) or APP764's(double platinum @ $4). You do not need platinums.

RE: Best spark plugs for good price ?

driller is right. But do not get Platinum's if you plan on running any power adder (NOS/SC/Turbo). Stick with the Coppers.
