Hi everyone, billcu here.

Since my dad will be joining us in Carlisle this year, I bought him a membership. He doesn't have a computer, so I'll show him this when I see him at Carlisle. Please welcome him.:)

A little about dad:

He's 87, a WWII vet, and was a rocket scientist in the 60's and 70's working on liquid and solid rocket propellants.:)

He lives in New Jersey and likes to golf.

He's a car guy, when I was growing up, he always bought nice old used luxury cars. He owned a 54 Lincoln Capri, a 62 Continental and until recently, he leased a new Town Car every few years. He has a Buick SUV now, because it fits his full sized keyboard (he plays the piano).

Be sure to have that son of yours print up some "Lincoln MKT" badges to put on your Buick. it'll fit right in.

Joe, I think dad would be happy to bring his keyboard, he plays stride, by ear. Can you play Mack the Knife, Alley Cat, or Hello Dolly on the sax?:D

Dad will be staying at the Comfort Inn in Carlisle.

As far as computers go, he didn't need no stinkin' computer, he had a slide rule.:D

Your Dad sounds like he would be a very fascinating person to meet. I hope I can get to Carlisle this year (not sure either way yet)

I spoke to dad today. He got his LOD membership in the mail. He thought it was my mail by mistake until I told him I signed him up.

He's looking forward to Carlisle. He will be at the hotel Friday, I'm not sure what time.

If anyone see's him at the hotel (he has white hair and likes to wear bright golf pants) feel free to introduce yourself, and show him where he can get a Manhatten.:D
