Anyone watch that show?

I never though there was anyone more dramatic than that Sheriff John Bunnell??? guy.

The narrator on this show is making it sound like being a roughneck is the most dangerous job in the world.

I can't help but sit here and chuckle at all the overly dramatic narration.

Sure, being a roughneck can be dangerous work, but DAMN!


Yes, I have read a pamphlet on the oil field once. ;)
 
I know....he started talking about a small water leak like it was going to make the rig sink into the ground! John Bunnell is a pimp, lol.

And rigs CAN sink into the ground. Well, not all the way, but they can sink when drilling in areas with shallow water tables.

But you're right, they made it sound like it was the end of the world.

I get a big LOL when they talk about hitting pockets of gas. I guess they haven't heard of a gas buster to take gas kicks, and drilling mud to kill the well. I know, roughnecks are taught to be scared to death of natural gas.

I've yet to see this but I'm sure I would get a chuckle.

I've always said Hollywood needs a technical advisor for drilling. LOL
 
i actually looked forward to the show, until i saw it a few times, i think it sucks, and watching where all our money goes to, a bunch of 4th grade drop out morons operating these rigs, no wonder why there are frequent accidents on them, like the idiot tonight who almost ripped his hand off because of his torn stretched out gloves. honestly i cant see the show coming back for another season.
