Not really a PC question, but sort of related...
I was recently issued a Blackberry at work - a new Blackberry 8300 "Curve" smartphone .
I'm a gadget guy but was wondering if anyone had any tips/comments on the device being used for more than a phone and email service? I've used a Palm PDA since their inception and currently use a Tungsten T5.
Seems the Palm and RIM technologies butt heads and do not play well with each other. I've grown fond over the years with the Palm's applications but can't seem to migrate much of anything to the Blackberry - even basic contact info. The best I was able to do was export a CSV file from the Palm Desktop and then import it to Outlook Express address book which then syncs with the Blackberry.
So far the Blackberry seems to do well as a phone and email device, but I was expecting more.
Anyone have any experience to share?
