recently I got myself another Mk viii. I already had a 1997 with 164k miles on it that ive been fixing for almost 2 years. I have been looking all over for another one for parts. So when I saw on craigslist a guy had a black one for 800 bucks I decided to go check it out. I drove 7 hours to Washington and met up the guy selling it. He says to go ahead and drive it around im expecting this to be just a **** box because it was in an accident and the airbags blew, the drivers side headlight wasted, the header panel wasted, the hood bent above where the headlight was, the tip of the fender serious bend. so I get in to drive it and the interior is like new everything works I turn on the light to go check the truck lid neon yup works. so the post says it has 238000 miles on it so im very confused because other than the accident it looks brand new. I get back in look at the odometer...23895 I calmy get out hand the man 800 bucks and say thanks and drove it to a friends place until i can fix it somehow.
So now what do I do swap parts off my other one until the original parts are fixed or sell it as is?
