I just picked up a 1999 Chev Tahoe from one of the fire departments Iw ork for for a low bid of $410, lol what a steal! it has a blown head gasket but thats it. My partner in the deal is the mechanic and will fix it and then its off to eBay, I researched and they are fetching about $3000 so it should be a good flip. It only has $54K miles on it with e new rebuilt tranny and the police package including that side spotlight. It has the 5.7 liter V8 and its a 4X2 only but I know it will sell.

I know, I know I will get them ASAP, I was just excited to talk about it, lol

ok here are a couple

dude I ran it through kelly blue book site with the 54K miles it has and they priced it at $11,000+ I might make a killing of this!

so far so good, I have the truck now, and it seems as though the head gasket is NOT blown. We drove it all around and I drove it and got on it and its fast and nothing is leaking. We are cleaning the interior now and hopefully will get it listed soon

ok to update, it ended up being the intake manifold gaskets and I sold it on eBay for a measly $3100, I expected double that but for a $400 investment it wasn't a bad return just disappointing.

Wow,

I'd say you did great. I'll trade 3 grand for 500.00 any day. I've found it's easier and faster to do small price sells and a whole lot of them and not go for the big kill units or you'll be sitting on them for a while looking for that just right buyer. I say you did a hell of a job, and a good eye to find that one.

omg this guy that bought it has filed a dispute, yep almost 3 months later, after buying it, and coming to get it and meeting with me, going over it and me having a mechanic onsite with it. What a tool. And Ebay sucks too. He can leave me a negative but I can't leave him one. Sellers can't negative anymore. WTF?

You should be able to leave a responce to the feedback he left you on your profile.

yea I can, thats all I can do but this lying POS is saying I misrepresented the car, he came and picked it up from me and my friend at my friends shop. He had no problems then. I wanna go smack the snot out of him

When I went to leave some guy bad feedback because of non payment, I found out that sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative feedback.. It sucked, all I could do is file a non payment. BUT, As a buyer I no longer have to worry about getting retaliatory feedback from sellers when things don't work out between the buyer and seller.. The sellers get the shaft, BUT if you do business the right way and take care of the buyer, you don't have to worry about negative feedback.

except when you do business the right way and you still get a negative. The guy came and picked up a car almost 2 months ago and drove it to Colorado. Then weeks later tells me its got problems. WTF am I supposed to do form here? and if he didn't like it, mostly cosmetic, then why did he buy it from me. Says I left things out except I posted like 30 pics and videos on ebay of it
