Car feel's happy!

Just got my car back from the transmission shop, and all I can say is WOW!

Props to Alan (Dirtyd0g)for getting me the converter so quickly (a day sooner would have been nice, then i would have had the car this weekend, but that was my fault, not his). 3350 stall is NICE! (Alan, if you read this it does end up as a 3350 stall in my car with my mods)

Actually, I probably would have had it back sooner had there not been problems with the valvebody....turns out my 98 Lincoln had a valvebody out of a 95....which was not discovered until Friday when the car would not shift into 3rd gear. xo

Well, good news is my car is back in my posession, and working WAY better than it did before.

Now I just need to find a nice straight and abandoned stretch of 2 lane highway....}(

RE: Car feel's happy!

glad to hear everything worked out well for you. How high does your car rev now before it starts to move with that stall?

RE: Car feel's happy!

It's almost no different than stock...I've been without the car so long I ahrdly notice the difference.

Damn, Franks car is faster than mine now! I got to go for a ride last night. Feels like a sling shot off the line. Can't wait to get our cars to the track.

Well, the more I drive it, the more I'm noticing differences. Acceleration from a stop dos take a little more throttle, but not a whole lot. As it shifts throguh the gears under light acceleration the RPM's won't hardly vary. It also appears as though my gas mileage may ave increased too.

The acceleration off the line is incredible. Like Crash said, it feels almost like your being propelled from a slingshot.

Can't wait to get this thing back to the track.
