Comeing back from work last night I pulled into the drive to enter the parking garage for my apartment building. I had a riced out Mazda MX3 ahead of me, but I was about 10 to 15 feet back from him and was being patient while he fumbled through his car looking for his card so he could get in. He finally finds it and the gate opens. Well this nut must have never driven a manual before. I hear him rev his mighty engine up and the fart can is screaming. But the guys not going anywhere but backwards. I lay on the horn and he rolls right into my front bumper.
I got off fairly unscathed. I have a nice mark on my bumper that will most likely buff out and the paint chipped slightly on my liscense plate holder. I'm leaving later this morning for a weekend trip down to the lake of the ozarks with the girlfriend so I guess I won't be able to give the car the proper attention it deserves untill sometime next week.
This is just another reason why they need to teach kids to drive manuals in drivers ed.
