So time flies faster than I thought. We MUST have a count of what dinners to order by June 1st at the latest, and they will need to be pre-paid (unless you contact me personally to work out other arrangements). If you are unable to attend because you cannot afford a meal, please contact me, as I have heard some meals are being donated to late-comers, etc.

Mikecp421 has graciously agreed to work out a way to pay via this message board, and I will post a link once that is up and working. Until then, let me give you the rundown.

REMINDER: Everyone is welcome to attend the banquet, whether or not you are having dinner with us. There will be extra seats, you could always run out to the lobby for a bite or some other restaurant, or just share off of someone else. :)

If you happen to know of someone attending Carlisle who does not read the message board, please have them contact me, or help them out with ordering meals. I am trying to find out who is registered so I can make sure everyone is aware.

We have the room starting at 4:30 for set up if we need it.
Appetizers will start at 6:30
Cash Bar is from 6:30 to 10:30
Garden greens salad will be served at 7:30
Dinner will be served at 8:00, and each person will need an indicator of which meal they are to be served, which will be given to you at Carlisle, either in your goody bag, or personally.

Dinner choices (prices will be listed a little bit later)
ROASTED PRIME RIB OF BEEF AU JUS
PETITE FILET OF BEEF AND COMFORT SUITES CRABCAKE
CHICKEN CORDON BLEU
PASTA PRIMAVERA MIXED IN A SUN DRIED TOMATO AND GARLIC CREAM SAUCE (This is our vegetarian option - if it is unacceptable, please let me know and I will see what other options there are)

All meals come with:
Twice Baked Potato
Peas and Carrots
Rolls and butter
Chef's Choice of dessert
Coffee, tea, decaf and Iced Tea
Tax and Tip will be included in price. You will only need money for the cash bar.

I do hope everyone makes it out to the banquet. It is always a good time, and people are welcome to join us even if you are not staying at this hotel, or are not going to have dinner. Chances are we will continue partying after the event ends (we have the room until midnight). This is when we hand out awards and have a raffle.

For those not staying at the hotel, there is a $3 charge to park in the parking garage, although there is also street parking available. The location is:

OK, here are the prices. I will let you know how to pay. THIS IS URGENT! Please let me know if you are NOT going to attend the dinner for the banquet so I don't start harrassing you asking why you haven't made a selection. :)

Here are the total prices. You will only need more cash that night for bar items and raffle tickets if you so desire.

Chicken - 28.75
Pasta - 28.75
Prime Rib - 36.25
Filet & Crab Cake - 38.75

holy cow. Im glad ive been saving up for 6 months for this trip.

We don't want anyone not to show due to the price. However, when we discussed it last year, it seemed like this was even less expensive than where we held our banquet last year.

If anyone thinks they can't attend due to the price, please let me know. Remember, we're also going to offer appetizers, along with all the items listed above.

Adult beverages are extra. ;)
 
There is a poll for appetizers. They are being provided by the club for all who attend the banquet.

I am afraid people are not considering everything in the pricing structure. Let's go over this one more time.

The banquet meal is all inclusive and even includes taxes and gratuities. There are no extra charges. While you may find a cheaper price for a comparative meal, it is usually only priced for the entree and may or may not include the salad, likely does not include any drink but water, most certainly does not include appetizers and desert and definitely does not include any taxes and gratuities. The only other cost would be any drinks from the cash bar.

BTW, where on the scale between casual and formal are we rating the banquet this year? :D

Which brings up another point. What about people who decide at the last minute or can't be reached. We have several who come to Carlisle who do not use the internet. The beauty of a restaurant individual checks was we could add as many as we wanted the night of the dinner.
