On Monday morning, Mrs. Driller and I met with an events coordinator at the Comfort Inn Suites. We'll have more details of things worked out later, but we DID manage to get a block of rooms for LOD members at a discounted rate!!!!! Some of us have already reserved for next year.
To get this rate, call the hotel directly, and say you want a room in the Lincolns of Distinction block. I believe the rate we were able to get (not an easy feat when the hotel sells out every year) is $152 per night (although I could be mistaken). The added advantage (or disadvantage) is that we will all be in the same area. We blocked 10 rooms.
But I don't have any info organized yet, and Mrs. Driller is out galavanting with Driller on the Power Tour. So more to come at a later time.
