Sorry I havent updated, I've been busy lately, but here goes.

7up had his fracture repiar surgery last week on monday, Dr. Kleinschmidt did a amazing job and he was the only surgeon in the area willing to accept monthly payments, he said 7up should have a full recovery and should be walking within a month. 7up is doing fine, healthy as ever, eating normally, hes sleeping on my bed this very moment.

People die everyday due to lack of food, or medication, and no one gives a crap... but for a cat, some people will go into debt.

Truly amazing.

Hey I know it’s your pet and all, but I’m pretty sure helping a father with 5 or 6 kids relying on him 100% financially would be much more useful.

Do you know in some countries 50 bucs can save a family from starvation for a month?

but then again, its not my Money, nor my business.

Grrr....... Im too young for this.

And my computer just sold on ebay for $800 so that goes toward the surgery debt, I have another decent computer that I can live with.

And as soon as I get a credit card I will pretty surely hook up some of my money to one of those save the child foundations.

bro, im not blaming you or anything, i'm just saying.

If you think about it, some people will go in debt for mufflers, or even just tinting their windows. So saving a cat would be better use then just tinting your windows or something.

I for one am really glad you got your cat fixed up. Pets totally rely on humans - you can't just tell them to go get a job and pay for themselves.I don't think you'll ever regret helping your cat, whereas you might have forever regretted it if you didn't...

I am glad to hear that 7-up received the much-needed medical attention. The love and enjoyment your cat will give you over the years will make this financial investment seem like peanuts.

You did the right thing, and I'm damn proud of you. :)

you know what.... im sick of this give give give to other country's crap... im sick of my tax dollars giving, im sick of people asking me to give... and im truly sick of people saying i should of given instead of enjoying something i like.. or helping my pets, or fixing my house... ITS MY MONEY, I WORDKED FOR IT, if i WANT to give i will, if i feel the NEED to give i will... but dont tell somebody they could help straveing people in some cluster **** of a country cause they are over populated and blah blah blah... they have rich people over there, they have a goverment, and THEY HAVE 2 ARMS AND LEGS AND A BRAIN, isnt my responsiblity to to HELP them cause they feel the need to do nothing..


Dont get me wrong giving is a great thing, giving to orphans, sick children , sick adults that CAN be help, familys that unexpected events happened too ( tornado blows down there house kinda stuff) that kind of giving is fine.... but if some guy in china is going hungry I DONT CARE...

You have some truly wonderful ideas. So I think you should sell your Mark VIII, and give that money away to those who REALLY need it. You probably don't REALLY need your car, as DOHC doesn't REALLY need a cat. I bet you could also feed a few 3rd World villages for a year with the sale of your car. Public transportation is plenty good enough for a humanist such as yourself. Yes indeed..you will be doing the world a tremendous service in selling your car.....

Don’t get all twisted and humorous with me, you knew what I meant.
I’m not a humanist like you would love to accuse me off, but he brought up the cat, I and I commented on saving lives, or legs in this case.

By the way, I would never go in debt, not ever for a damn car. But I guess people are so accustomed to doing so, it’s a part of their lives to barrow money to buy crap they don’t need, no wonder so many people die in debt. People in this country alone pay $14,xxx of interest a SECOND, and where do you think all this money is coming from? Yup, foreign Banks. So pete, when you borrow money to help your cat, that money might just make it to the guy in china who you don’t care about.

So Ron, I drive my DOHC Mark VIII, and enjoy many things, but I’m not in debt, Are you?

btw dohcmark8, this is not meant as a personal thing against you, I was talking about the whole barrowing money for leather chairs concept that’s lately been getting out of hand.

Moe, foreign banks? I coulda sworn that all my personal debts are to American banks, myself. And i thought that government debt came from the issuance of savings bonds, which, last time i checked, were sold to any and all comers. Now i'm sure there are plenty of foreigners with savings bonds, but to say that all that debt comes from foreign banks is less than correct.

As far as the principal involved, going into debt for stuff you "want", i can agree with you there. If you can avoid it, don't go into debt. I'm in debt up to my eyeballs, myself, but i'd rather spend my money when i'm young than when i'm old. And if i die in debt, i guess those foreign banks will be SOL. :)
