I HAVE A 94 LINCOLN TOWN CAR EXECUTIVE SERIES, LATELY MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HASBEEN COMING ON. I COULD WOULD BE DRIVING AND SUDDENLY IT LOOSES POWER AND FEELS LIKE IT IS SLIPPING, THEN AFTER A FEW PUSHES ON THE PETAL IT CATCHES AND DRIVES RIGHT.IT SEEMS TO BE MORE FREQUENT WHEN THE OUT SIDE TEMPERATURE HEATS UP IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE LIGHT COMES ON. HELP!!

It can be a lot of things but one might be the 02 sensors.

Welcome Veronica! There could be any number of reasons for that happening, hopefulluy a Town Car expert can answer but you may need to get a diagnostic code to see what's up.

Oh, and please, don't type in all caps, it's as if you're SHOUTING! :)

Go to a shop and have them read the codes on the computer.
