RE: Chicago Meet!!
Well, OK, the kid is gonna be there with a friend, but he won't post. He also said if people who are under 21 or aren't into dancing girls wanna hang out here, that's fine with him. He also wants people to get together for dinner on Friday night.
So for Saturday, we'll provide the grill and burgers, brats and dogs. Beer, pop, water and gatorade will also be provided, and probably some chips and stuff, like a cake. More ice and coolers will probably be needed, and hopefully this year I'll bring charcoal.
Cones would be good to stop those little cardboard encrusted cars from parking in between us (although we could just move them), along with lawn chairs, sunscreen, and other picnic stuff - but not required. Picnic should start around noon and last til whenever. Then hopefully we'll be going out to Navy pier.
Sunday we'll bring the leftover drinks to the track, but I don't know what we'll do for food. Last year I think the KFC that was brought was a good idea, but I don't know where to go to get that, and let's be honest, I'll be running too late to pick it up myself. If anyone else can, let me know and I can give you money for it.
After Sunday's track event (check out
www.greatlakesdragaway.com) I was hoping we could stop at the Brat Stop again for dinner. I love that place.
