Chicago: Most tickets at an LOD meet?

Got back yesterday, had a fun weekend. I'll probably be out there again next year, but i'm going to have to get one of those street-pilot things first. Joe (badsax) had one and it was awesome. Myself, i got lost about 4 times, until i broke down and bought a map :).

This weekend, at least 4 of us got tickets. Steve got one Friday night for speeding (i think, wasn't there), 2 people got tickets on Saturday while their cars were parked, both with expired tags. And then i got one on Saturday for wrong-way on a 1-way street. Apparently if you don't know where you are it isn't always a good idea to just do a u-turn and backtrack. And it looks like Joe (ponyfreak) at least got a talking-to for restriping a parking lot.

So is that the most for one LOD meet, or what?

That looks pretty cool. I just sent the link to my friend ted, he installs doors and could use that day-to-day. If he buys it i should be able to borrow it :).

WOW - I guess you can't let the law stand in the way of a good time.

I have the Garmin Street Pilot too - the thing is awesome!

Dave -- you're from the Detroit area. Chicago is the same -- one way streets EVERYWHERE.

Yea but in Detroit the cops don't notice when you go the wrong way!

When it comes to going the wrong way, cops usually let you off the hook, because almost no one would do it on purpose, ESP if you’re out of state.
