In 2mths in order I have changed alternator, steering gear, air suspension, some belts. Now I have this loud cricket or bird sound coming from my car, I think after driving it awhile its not as loud. Im very lost.. some helps PLEASE!!!

Sounds like it might be the serpentine belt idler and/or tensioner pullies.

They are about 16 bucks apiece and are easy to change. I just changed an idler pulley but now I need to replace the tensioner pulley.

I agree with you Bill. Get that tensioner replace ASAP.

Do you mean your new belt was bad?

If so, what brand was it? I need a new belt too.

I got the feeling that his belt tensioner caused his new belt to fail so now he's put in both new.
