Does anyone know how to clean the gen2 headlights?
There looking a little foggy I would like to have them clear, I have heard there is some kind of sanding involved.

If they arent too bad, the previous thread is correct. If they are bad, and you HAVE TO sand them use wet sanding paper in 1000, 1500, & 2000 grit.
THEN use elbow grease and magic metal polish.

if you know what to do sanding a gen 2 headlight will not scratch them, using 100 grit might. i crashed my 98 in jan 07, my headlights were mint, i bought another 98 to use the nose off it and the headlights looked like crap. i have done this a million times to these headlights. first i sand them with 1000 grit wet sand paper, then i do it again with 2000 grit. after i am happy with the sanding i use a 7 inch buffer and mcquire's Scratch X paste. i buff them several times each and then finish with a hand applied coat of Nano wax and buff that off after it has hazed. they look like brand new assemblies i have absolutely no scratches in my housings what so ever. my headlights from the doner car were so cloudy you couldnt see the reflectors inside, and this is what they look like still after sanding and buffing 6 months later and i have no touched them since except for car soap and a sponge.
