Cobra R's Installed

Well, I've jumped on the Cobra R bandwagon. They just look too good on these cars and aren't too expensive. I will be lowering the car soon since these tires are about an inch shorter than stock.
Bridgestone Potenza RE750's - 245/45 Front, 275/40 Rear.

I did try to be original with the center caps. Just some vinyl decals from eDecals.com.

For those interested in getting 17x9 wheels, I did have to go with stick-on wheel weights for the inside of the front wheels. Otherwise, there are no clearance issues.

Were those the $1000 specials?
[/div]

Yes, they were the $999 specials. I got them about a week and a half after I placed the order.

i paid 650 for mine from Brad cudaz101, brand new 17x9

Maybe he should advertise a little better. I looked all over the internet and only found one place cheaper than LMS, but their shipping charges were outrageous. Not that it's that big of a deal to me. I'm sure a number of people have paid more than $999 for these wheels. I'm happy with them and don't feel I got ripped off. I've gotten my fair share of 'deals' on parts for this car so paying an 'average' price once in a while won't break me :D

650$? 17x9? Chrome?

RE: Cobra R's Installed

sorry, i got polished!!! Chrome wasn't too much more. Wow talk about comparing apples and oranges. Shoot him an e-mail for the price of chrome. I've got to say the polished looks great. Most people think they are chrome. Holding up very very well.Don't have to worry about peeling either.

... and a lot lighter! }(

RE: Cobra R's Installed

Wow..i still love those Cobra R type rims from the first day he put them up on his site. Thats the style i want still. It really puts in perspective of how wimpy our rear rotors are. Like those ricer cars with 20" rims and rear drums sticking out between rim holes painted some un-godly flourescent color.
