Think I need a new coil over or two for the mark. Whats the best upgrade from the stock COP's? and cost effective aswell.

You mean Coil On Plug. Stick with the factory parts they work very well. I've not had any luck with any of the aftermarket units and have seen many other tuners report having to pull off the aftermarket units just to be able to tune a vehicle since they would fail on them.
 
+1 with what Lonnie said.

the OEM far exceed the possible output of the motor, they will support a much more powerful motor than the mark 8's.

The Aftermarket ones are often substandard coils painted cool colors.

I've had numerous problems with aftermarket coils on my friends cars, and it's literally impossible to get them to replace them with stock ones, even for troubleshooting purposes.

Just say no to aftermarket coils.
