So just though you would all like to know where I’m at in the battle to fix my car. After taking almost an hour one morning to start my 98, I couldn’t take it anymore. I dropped the car off the afternoon at the Lincoln dealer. So to keep this short, they had the car for four days and nights, and claim that they couldn’t recreate the cold starting problem. (I think they might have recreated it, but couldn’t find the problem). They tested everything, and it all tested fine. So in the end, they didn’t charge me anything which ruled, but then again, I didn’t find out what was wrong with my car. Since then, it hasn’t been cold enough i.e. under 20 degrees. So even if the car doesn’t start right up, it starts with in 5-10 seconds.
