cold weather Marks and doors that seal too well

I have chronic problems with the doors freezing shut. it seems to be the gaskets work um... too well and freeze whenever the weather gives them an opportunity. I tried a tiny bit of silicone lube spray last year without huge success. Does anyone have experience with this and have you found a good solution?

See my problem is in the hot florida summer, on dry days (read:never, its rained every day for weeks it seems), they weld themselves together. My solution is pull on the door harder:p

You might tyr whitelube lithium grease. I love that stuff and use it on anything that makes noise. It works awesome on lugnuts as well.

Thats why the handle breaks on so many Marks. Yes, i've noticed the closing shut problem in my Mark as well. Just grease up the seals and maybe it will get a little better.

Wax your car where the seal mate up is a solution I used when my 98 Sable did the same thing. I have only had my 93 Mk8 7 days now and it was frozen shut yesterday and today. I need to wax my door jams too.
