Computer acting funny after car parked on hill

Recently, I noticed that after I park the car on a relatively steep hill, the computer starts acting weird:

1. Low oil level comes on (checked oil twice after this, it is not low, this happens regardless which way car is facing). It does not turn on in the instrument cluster though.

2. Gas guage completely off (once said full tank when about 5 gallons were gone when facing downhill. when parked facing uphill, said low fuel level with at least a good 6 gallons to go). This applies to the actual gas guage as well, it is completely lost.

Any ideas?

TIA.

It is typical for owners to report the oil level low indicator when parking on a hill. The gas gage can take time to correct. The OM even states to turn off you car when filling in order to get an accurate reading or it will take a while to corect.

If the hill is steep enough, that sounds more or less normal. I woulnd't worry about it.

Our Marks will report low oil levels with just one quart low on flat and level. Keep track of your level and you'll be OK.
